The Westwood Road man was holed up in the home by himself, police said.

"He was holed up in a house with some suicidal tendencies and a variety of grievances," said Deputy Chief Tom Wuennemann.

Police surrounded the home and made contact with him and he agreed to come out and go to the hospital.

There are no criminal charges, Wuennemann said.
